1. Skiing
Montana is known for its reliable snowfall and massive peaks. Bozeman is a haven for powder lovers. During the winter months, tourists and locals alike enjoy the excellent local ski resort, Bridger Bowl, or day trips to the luxurious Big Sky Resort, about an hour outside of town. With a summit elevation of 11,166 feet, Big sky has over 5,800 acres of incredible skiable terrain, and sees a seasonal average of 400 inches of snow.
2. Hiking
There is a plethora of local hiking trails all around Bozeman. Surrounded by the Bridger Mountains, Spanish Peaks, and Crazy mountains, there are magical hikes for beginners and experienced outdoorsmen alike. Yellowstone National Park is less than an hour and a half outside of Bozeman. This presents visitors the opportunity for a day trip to see Old Faithful and lots more world-famous attractions!
3. Downtown Scene
Downtown Bozeman is described as "one of the country's most charming main streets." The downtown is rich with live music, festivals, breweries, and more. This makes it the perfect spot to explore after a day of outdoor adventure.
